Calla Farn – Chair of CEED Board of Directors

Calla Farn retired in June 2022 after a lengthy and varied career that included several business leadership roles. For the last six years of her working career, Calla served as Vice President, Corporate Affairs for Canadian Stewardship Services Alliance (now part of Circular Materials) and prior to that, she worked for nine years at McCain Foods (Canada), where she served on both the Canadian Leadership Team and the North American Crisis Management Team.

She also worked as Vice President of the Atlantic Region for the soft drink industry. Before joining the beverage industry, Calla was a journalist and worked at CBC Newsworld, Global News and The Canadian Press. Calla has an EMBA from Saint Mary’s University and is a graduate of the Chartered Director program at McMaster University’s Directors College. She has served on more than 10 boards of directors and brings to the CEED Board a sound governance knowledge, strong communication skills, and extensive business experience.
