Destiny brings a wealth of experience to Seed NS with a background spanning housing support, youth programming, and community engagement. Currently completing a Bachelor of Social Work at Dalhousie University, Destiny has spent approximately nine years working with children and youth and over  the last three years, supporting young adults and the aging population.

She thrives in community-oriented settings, using client-centered approaches and emphasizing an Afrocentric, holistic perspective in her work. Destiny enjoys collaborating alongside others who are eager to learn and grow, and she strongly believes that every individual has the capacity to strengthen themselves in any and every way. Sometimes it just takes an extra voice and hand to get there and that’s the heart of why she does what she does.
