Emma Roode
Emma is the case manager for the Virtual EDGE Program, bringing 10 years of front-line experience to the role, three of which were with SEED's Youth Employability Program. Emma values authenticity and connection, and works from a strengths-based, participant-centred approach. She believes that each person is the expert of their own experience, and she strives to empower the youth she works with to reach their goals by being their authentic selves. Emma always tries to get it right, not to be right, and uses every day as an opportunity for learning and growth. In her spare time, she loves crafting (and always has too many projects on the go), reading tarot, hanging out with her dog Pippin, and spending time in the forest or by the ocean.
