Halifax Transit
Halifax Transit connects communities across the HRM with buses and ferries, making it easy to travel throughout the municipality. If you’re new to transit, planning your trips is simple! Use the HFXGO app or the Halifax Transit trip planner to find the best route. Arrive at your stop a few minutes early, have your fare or pass ready, and pull the yellow cord or the stop button when it’s time to get off. If you’re also cycling, many busses are equipped with bike racks, making it easy to combine biking and transit.

If you’re a post-secondary student at a participating school, don’t forget to use your U-Pass. It’s included with many student fees and gives you unlimited access to Halifax Transit throughout the school year.
