Michelle Sayers

Michelle is so grateful for the opportunity to work with the youth at SEED and work within the Skills to SucSEED program. Michelle began her career in journalism and quickly found a passion in mental health, nutrition, education and social justice. As her career evolved Michelle furthered her education in mental health with a focus on substance use and counselling interventions that are person-centered, holistic and deeply compassionate. Focusing on the nonprofit sector, Michelle spent several years working with people experiencing homelessness and then transitioned to small options homes for youth with disabilities, youth at risk and people in marginalized groups with multiple barriers.

Michelle has experience with group facilitation and one-on-one coaching and loves creating fun and engaging environments where individuals can learn in a safe space.

Michelle believes strongly in diversity, inclusion and equity and works hard to support others to thrive in a life that they love.

Michelle is excited to be working with youth and supporting the growth and development of tomorrow’s leaders.
